Temperature Log Sheet for WarmFeet® Relaxation

   Beginning date ___________________

   Name ___________________________

You are learning to relax, increasing peripheral blood flow and skin
temperature in  hands and feet! Please record your hand or foot tempe-
rature using the alcohol  thermometer held or taped to your skin, about
one minute (use the pad of the left little finger or either great toe).  Do this
before and after relaxing with the 16 minutes WarmFeet® recording.

It is OK to relax several times a day, just allow 2-3 hours between times.
If you are troubled by interrupting thoughts; acknowledge them; then return
to focus on your breathing out, allowing tension to flow away, relaxing
shoulders and enjoy the feelings of ‘sinking down’ and warmth as you
relax.  Cover legs with a light blanket to avoid drafts in the room.

As your skill of relaxing increases, so will your skin temperature.  Remem-
ber the feeling of warmth and improve on it, strengthen it over and over
again. If temperature measurements make you anxious, don’t do it for a
while - just allow yourself to relax and let yourself enjoy it. Then recheck if
you wish, another time.

Decide on a convenient time for you to practice, and relax daily, every
day or at least 5 days a week.  You are learning a new skill, and
consistent training is the most important aspect.

You have the ability within you to make this happen!
